 The STAR (Stem cell for Advanced Regeneration) Laboratory was established in 2024 by Assistant Professor Yohan Kim in the Department of MetaBioHealth at Sungkyunkwan University. The STAR Laboratory focuses on interdisciplinary research that combines basic science and clinical applications, with a particular emphasis on the development of patient-derived stem cells and organoids. Through these efforts, the lab conducts research from various regenerative medicine perspectives.

We are looking for passionate and research-oriented students (under-graduate, M.S., Ph.D., or M.S./Ph.D.) to join the STAR Laboratory. 

Students in the STAR Lab receive full tuition support and are provided with financial assistance for living expenses. Depending on the student's abilities, there are opportunities to attend international conferences through various overseas networks.
